- Problem Abstract: Outside temp reading 32 Deg. F. when its 110 deg.
- Reported By: Joel Douglas (JDou767646@aol.com)
- Year: 1998
- Model: GTP
- Mileage: 8,000
- Applicable Options:
- Solution: no sulution a/c intermittant op caused by low temp reading.Dealer has relaced controll head and rewired outside temp sensor. Car is still messed up.As a 8yr Cadillac tech and a ASE master certifeid tech I think there going in wrong direction but who am I to say.
- Cost: warranty and alot of sweat at 120 deg summers
- Other: Moved outside temp sensor from original spot to putting round pencil shaped end of sensor into hole in front header just above radiator. The higher temps seem to make sensor operate to where A/C works correctly.Maybe they will replace outside temp sensor my next visit?
