- Problem Abstract: Repeated Blown Fuses
- Reported By: Tim Seeley (TRSeeley@juno.com)
- Year: 1998
- Model: GTP
- Mileage: 6500
- Applicable Options:
- Solution: Dealer service department removed right tail light, applied electrical tape to bare spot on pinched wire and re-attached assembly.
- Cost: warranty
- Other: Fuses for turn signals, hazard flashers and brakes would intermittently, and with time for frequently, blow. Turned out that a wire to the right tail light was pinched by the assembly when installed at the factory. The insulation on the wire eventually wore through and the wire would short out on bumps.
