- Problem Abstract: Shorted out Fuel Pump Relay
- Reported By: Jerry S. (jerrys@us.ibm.com)
- Year: 1997
- Model: GTP
- Applicable Options: All but sunroof and child seat
- Solution: Dealer had to replace the Fuel Pump Relay under the hood to fix this "intermittent" problem.
- Cost: Warranty
- Other: Had to have this towed to the dealership twice before they found this problem. If your having starting trouble and think it might be this, listen for a hissing sound comming from the rear driver's side of the car when you turn your ignition key to the ON position. If there is no hissing sound, the fuel pump isn't working, and thus, the car won't start.
