- Problem Abstract: change oil soon light won't reset
- Reported By: ASG ()
- Year: 1997
- Model: GT
- Mileage: appx. 30500
- Applicable Options: n/a
- Solution: Taken once to dealer. They reset the light and said we must have been doing it wrong. It worked fine the first time we changed the oil. Since the dealer reset the light, we have changed the oil about 9 times. Still can't get the light to go out. Havent' taken it back to dealer because it is a waste of time.
- Cost: warranty
- Other: Also have WAY TOO MANY PAINT CHIPS on the hood as well as on side panels above front wheels. Prior to buying the Grand Prix I owned a 7 year old Toronado, which had about 100,000 miles when traded in, it only had a fraction of the paint chips that the GP has. Pretty sad considering the Toronado was 6 years older and had 70000 more miles on it.
